Following the second Poojai, the filming of Adhiran officially commenced in the scenic upcountry regions. The team captured 23 consecutive days of footage across Maskeliya, Hatton, Nallathanni, Gate More, Upcot – Swamimalai, Mausakalai, Watawala, and Norwood, followed by an additional 3 days of shooting in Colombo, bringing the story to life with dedication and hard work

After completing the shoot, the Adhiran team moved to Jaffna to begin the full post-production process.
Here, the film went through music composition, background scoring, sound effects, dubbing, editing, video VFX, color grading, and 5.1 surround mixing, along with several other essential post-production activities that shaped the final cinematic experience

Exclusive Screening @ Paris - France

After the trailer launch, Adhiran went through a special producer preview followed by an official screening for the censor board. With all approvals completed, the film received its first-ever international screening in Paris, France, on 4th October 2025 at Cinema Megarama Villeneuve at 4:30 PM. This marked a proud milestone for Adrian Productions, bringing the film to a global audience for the very first time

Following its international screenings, Adhiran celebrated its spectacular Grand Premiere on 22nd November 2025 at PVR, One Galle Face. The event drew an extraordinary crowd, making it one of the biggest celebrations in Sri Lankan cinema.

This historic premiere marked the first time a film was released simultaneously in both Tamil and Sinhala languages, showcasing the unity and diversity of Sri Lanka’s film industry.
The project was proudly created with 100% Sri Lankan technicians and artists — including actors, actresses, and supporting cast from both the Sri Lankan Tamil and Sinhala film industries.

The night was graced by Mr. Ranjan Ramanayake, Sri Lankan Superstar, along with numerous VIPs, media channels, YouTubers, influencers, and film enthusiasts.
Due to the massive number of invited guests and fans, the premiere was screened simultaneously in two halls at PVR to accommodate the overwhelming turnout.

This unforgettable evening celebrated not only the film, but also the power and growth of Sri Lankan cinema
